⚰︎ scabs: “encore”… signature 12oz bull denim jacket – revived with sterling silver piercings and stud accents, hand stitched over raw wax denim. waistline extended and accentuated by 33” of 20oz lambskin leather – complete with a matching detached industrial zipper. with flared sleeves and an exaggerated standing collar, this denim brings a dramatic, gothic silhouette when worn. the spinal column along the back is reminiscent of both the human vertebrae as well as soundwaves.

backofahearse returns with the first edition of the “scabs” wax denim jeans. featuring an industrial zipper 180° waistband alongside the signature lambskin tag, silhouette-adjusting heel zippers, stainless steel silver studs, and 10oz. wax denim raw edge strips. this pair of denim is exceptionally rich in emotional sentiment with over 200 patches (1,200yds of 100% cotton floss)
heavily inspired by Jun Takahashi’s Undercover SS03 “scabs” collection. back side of each pair follows a horizontal strip pattern reminiscient of Nobuhiko Kitamura’s Hysteric Glamour “hagi” denim.
